Project Manager, Container Management System (Leasing & Ops)

A market leading container business player is hiring a Project Manager to assist in leading the asset management system development project.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of an Asset Management System by gathering and analyzing input from various departments, providing analytical insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with system vendors to ensure that system features align with user needs and business objectives, while recommending enhancements for improved process efficiency
• Support system upgrades, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget, and help establish metrics for monitoring performance and incorporating feedback for continuous improvement
• Evaluate inventories of new and depot units to identify issues such as excessive idle time and imbalances, offering logistical recommendations for resolution
• Help establish a compliant system for storing and retrieving contracts, ensuring accurate entry of contract information and monitoring the signing process for any delays
• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of leasing rentals and billing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and identifying necessary adjustments
• Contribute to the strategizing and enhancement of depot network infrastructure to support growth objectives, evaluating capacity and measuring performance for operational efficiency
• Assist in the development and delivery of training sessions for internal staff, creating SOPs for container leasing processes to maintain consistency in operations

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• 5 years' experience in container business/ship liner
• Concrete understanding in container leasing & operations is a must
• Experience in implementation/integration of management information system is a plus
• Excellent project management skills are desired
• Good command of English & Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
