Lead global commercialisation for a high‑growth sustainable materials platform. Build, structure, and convert strategic partnerships across the apparel/textile value chain to deliver scale, profitability, and long‑term advantage.

Duties:

  • Design and execute a multi‑year partnership strategy to expand adoption of low‑impact material solutions across priority markets (Asia, EMEA, the Americas).
  • Build a balanced portfolio across segments (spinners, mills, garment makers, recyclers, traders, brands/retailers) to diversify volume, mitigate risk, and capture strategic leverage.
  • Develop market entry plays and account‑level plans with clear value hypotheses, decision maps, and engagement cadences
  • Structure and negotiate high‑value, complex agreements (e.g., supply and offtake arrangements, co‑development frameworks, strategic collaboration MOUs, multi‑year commercial terms).
  • Own the full lifecycle: origination → commercial modeling and valuation → term sheet → contract execution → post‑signature governance (QBRs, KPIs, risk management).
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to optimize economics (price, indexation, volume commitments, service levels, risk allocation) and ensure compliance with regional regulations.
  • Represent the company at senior customer meetings and industry forums, translating regulatory and sourcing trends into actionable commercial moves.
  • Build credibility with executive stakeholders by articulating the business case for sustainable materials, including performance, cost, reliability, and impact.

Requirement:

  • Fluency in Chinese / Mandarin is mandatory
  • Senior leadership in commercial, partnerships, or business development within textiles, apparel, materials, or adjacent supply‑chain sectors.
  • Proven track record structuring and closing multi‑stakeholder, cross‑border deals with measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the end‑to‑end value chain (spinning, knitting/weaving, dyeing/finishing, garment manufacturing, brand/retail requirements).
  • Comfortable operating in a global remit with frequent international travel and variable time zones.
  • Remote/flexible with regular travel (~30–40%).
