Plant Manager (Houseware, Household)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage all daily operations of a thriving houseware and household operation located in Zhuhai, for their own brand products and OEM projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the P&L of the operation, work and stick to the budget
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
• Build and sustain the Lean culture of the operation
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets

Requirements:

• At least 5 years work experience as a Plant Manager position in a multi-national company.
• Bachelor degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field
• Proven Lean Manufacturing experience
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
