Assistant Supply Chain & Operation Manager (Oil & Derivatives)

Our client stands as an MNC oil & gas derivatives trader, they're hiring an Assistant Supply Chain & Operation Manager to support the logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead supply planning and procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, purchasing, and timely delivery of products to meet operational demands
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to develop and execute supply chain strategies, aligning procurement and operations with business growth objectives
  • Manage inventory and supply planning, working closely with warehouse operators and logistics providers to maintain Minimum Stock Levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock
  • Optimize logistics and distribution networks, monitoring performance, resolving bottlenecks, and selecting efficient transport and delivery solutions to reduce costs
  • Oversee third-party partnerships, including blenders and logistics providers, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and operational standards through regular performance evaluations
  • Ensure all activities adhere to safety, ethical, and regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with HSSE and organizational best practices in procurement and operations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • 5 years' experience in supply chain/logistics operations, knowledge in procurement is a strong plus
  • Experience in oil & gas derivatives (petroleum-based, energy & lubricant, etc.) is highly desired
  • Good command of English
