Head of Production & Supply Chain (Jewel)

Our client stands as an MNC jewel manufacturer is hiring a Head of Production & Supply Chain to oversee the operations in APAC production sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement process improvements utilizing frameworks like Six Sigma, Lean, and business process reengineering to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Manage the project management office to coordinate project efforts, offering essential resources and training for successful project execution
  • Formulate and execute supply chain strategies that align with organizational objectives, overseeing the complete supply chain from order intake to product distribution
  • Seek and establish partnerships with new suppliers, adopt innovative technologies, and explore new materials to boost product competitiveness and streamline supply chain functions
  • Define and track key performance indicators to evaluate the success of quality management and operational improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with different departments to ensure compliance with regulations, address supply chain challenges (procurement, logistics, etc.), and promote sustainable practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • 8 years' experience in jewel operations (supply chain or manufacturing operations)
  • Diamond procurement or lean six sigma certification is a strong plus
  • Good command of English
  • Business travels to other APAC regions are entitled
