Senior Merchandising Manager / Merchandising Director - Luggage

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Merchandising Manager/Director to lead their dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the entire product development process, from sourcing to shipment arrangement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the merchandising team on OEM projects
• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies while sourcing high-quality materials and products to enhance product visibility
• Conduct insightful cost analyses to optimize profitability
• Optimise workflow and improve efficiency
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of initiatives
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions

Job Requirements:

• University graduate
• At least 8 years solid merchandising, product management and sourcing experience, of which 5 years+ experience on luggage
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage development schedules and costs
• Proficient in MS Office
• Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese
• Highly self-motivated, good problem solving skills and able to multi-task
