Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying top-tier suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and ensuring seamless coordination of production schedules and quality control processes. Your ability to leverage digital tools and industry events will be critical to delivering value-driven solutions.

• Source and evaluate suppliers via platforms (1688, Alibaba, Made-in-China) and AI tools based on client specifications
• Lead price negotiations, contract discussions, and maintain supplier data using Monday.com
• Coordinate sample shipments, client approvals, and factory quality control inspections
• Oversee production timelines, ensuring alignment with project deadlines post-approval
• Attend trade shows (e.g., Canton Fair, Hong Kong fairs) to identify suppliers, trends, and opportunities

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in sourcing roles within the building materials or mining industries. You excel in supplier negotiations, production oversight, and leveraging digital tools for workflow efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years’ sourcing/foreign trade experience, preferably in building materials, mining, or industrial sectors
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong business communication skills
• Proven negotiation skills with Chinese manufacturers on pricing and terms
• Proficient in CRM/project tools (e.g., Monday.com) and data-driven workflows
