Supply Chain Manager, APAC Distribution

As Supply Chain Manager – Distribution, you will be entrusted with overseeing the entire regional distribution network across APAC.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define processes and standards for optimised distribution management in partnership with local operational teams, ensuring seamless delivery for all product lines.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to service quality and last mile partner performance, implementing improvements as needed to maintain high standards.
  • Review and refine delivery routing across multiple countries in the region, leveraging hybrid and dynamic solutions to maximise efficiency.
  • Develop deep collaborative relationships with key suppliers including last mile delivery companies, fostering trust and mutual understanding to achieve shared goals.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures required by internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities in both origin and destination countries.
  • Provide cost-effective distribution solutions for pricing teams, supporting strategic price bundling initiatives that benefit customers.
  • Guide product and pricing teams on optimal end-to-end solution bundling, ensuring competitive advantage in the marketplace.
  • Support sales teams by proactively managing customer expectations throughout the supply chain process.
  • Work closely with regional quality teams to meet internal and external quality benchmarks for suppliers, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design network solutions with relevant distribution partners, ensuring service level agreements are met and ongoing performance is monitored.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related discipline coupled with at least five years’ experience in e-commerce supply chain roles focused on first mile delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of cross-border supply chain operations within retail, carrier or third-party logistics environments, including export parcels and packets markets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LEAN principles and practices applied within complex logistics settings.
  • Strong cultural awareness enabling effective collaboration with teams from diverse backgrounds across multiple countries.
  • Proficiency in IT systems relevant to supply chain management, including experience working alongside IT departments on technical projects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail allowing you to maintain accuracy even when managing multiple priorities in demanding environments.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and their application within logistics operations.
  • Outstanding communication skills paired with relationship-building abilities that facilitate cooperation among cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivation combined with excellent time management skills enabling you to deliver results consistently within budgetary constraints.
  • Ability to articulate both technical requirements and business needs clearly when engaging stakeholders at all levels.
