Manager, Logistics & Supply Planning (Japanese Speaking)

Our client stands as an MNC manufacturer is hiring an Assistant Manager to support regional logistics & supply planning operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the supply planning process to achieve cost efficiency in sourcing
  • Take full responsibility for the purchasing process, ensuring timely and complete deliveries
  • Offer operational assistance to streamline product movement through logistics to final warehouses
  • Track inventory levels, aid in product restocking, and help maintain minimum stock levels while optimizing inventory management
  • Detect and address supply and distribution challenges with logistics providers, enhancing cost-effectiveness and delivery methods
  • Ensure that all corporate activities and operations adhere to ethical, legal, and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • 8 years' experience in supply chain/logistics planning (inventory optimisation, cost analysis, etc.)
  • Familiar with MS Excel (data analytics for supply chain planning)
  • Team leading/managerial experience is preferred
  • Good command of English & Japanese
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
  • Immediate availability/short notice is desired
