AM, Logistics Planning (Manufacturing, Oil & Chemicals)

Our client stands as an MNC oil & chemicals manufacturer is urgently hiring an Assistant Manager, Logistics Planning to support their operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and manage the supply planning flow to ensure cost-effectiveness in source planning
  • Maintain ownership of the entire purchasing process, ensuring On Time In Full performance
  • Provide operational support to facilitate the flow of products through logistics to end warehouses
  • Monitor stock levels, support product replenishments, and assist in maintaining Minimum Stock Levels while optimizing inventory
  • Identify and manage supply/distribution issues with logistics service providers, optimizing costs and delivery methods
  • Ensure compliance with ethical, legislative, and HSSE standards in all corporate activities and operations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • 8 years' experience in supply chain/logistics planning (inventory optimisation, cost analysis, etc.)
  • Manufacturing background is a must, industry experience in oil & chemicals is a strong plus
  • Familiar with MS Excel
  • Team leading/managerial experience is preferred
  • Good command of English
  • Immediate availability/short notice is desired
