Logistics Operation Manager (Manufacturing, 6-sigma is a must)

An MNC manufacturer is hiring a Logistics Operation Manager to optimize their global distribution process.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute logistics strategies that support the organization’s global objectives
  • Streamline transportation systems to ensure prompt delivery and oversee inventory management to prevent shortages
  • Handle contract negotiations with 3PL vendors and ensure adherence to regulations
  • Collaborate with various departments to improve operations
  • Review key performance metrics and implement enhancements, including tech solutions for better efficiency

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • 8 years' experience in logistics operations, including 3 years in strategic supply chain planning
  • Experience in collaborating with production plants is a must (manufacturing background)
  • 6-sigma (green/black belt) is compulsory
  • Other certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus
  • Good command of English & Chinese (both Mandarin & Cantonese)
