What you'll do:

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for steering the organisation’s brand vision across Hong Kong and Mainland China. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing compelling go-to-market strategies, crafting unique product narratives, and driving creative campaigns that generate demand beyond conventional sales promotions. You will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure seamless execution of cross-border e-commerce initiatives while nurturing a culture of innovation within your team. Success in this role means elevating the marketing function into a strategic powerhouse that champions brand growth through imaginative storytelling, data-driven insights, and close interdepartmental cooperation.

  • Guide the overall brand positioning strategy to ensure consistent messaging and impactful brand building across all channels.
  • Define product positioning, develop go-to-market strategies, and articulate key selling points that resonate with target audiences in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
  • Drive cross-border e-commerce initiatives by creating demand generation campaigns that increase traffic between Hong Kong and Mainland China.
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies focused on creative content rather than traditional promotional tactics, ensuring engagement with new customer segments.
  • Lead the marketing team’s evolution from executing sales-driven activities to implementing brand-led strategies that foster long-term growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and E-commerce teams to align objectives, share insights, and maximise campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor market trends in both regions to identify opportunities for brand expansion and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Champion data-driven decision making by analysing campaign performance metrics and adjusting tactics for optimal results.
  • Mentor team members by fostering an environment of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
  • Represent the marketing function in cross-departmental meetings to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
