About the Role:

This Brand Manager position with our client, a leading consumer goods company, will provide you the opportunity to sharpen your leadership, strategic, and execution skills. You will be responsible for driving growth for the snack brand by developing and executing plans to meet annual brand, financial, and market share objectives. Your key responsibilities will include crafting insight-driven marketing strategies, brand positioning, innovation, communication, and defining the long-term category vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the brand strategies and manage the direction of the brand
  • Identify brand and product opportunities
  • Establish a holistic understanding of macro trends, the competitive landscape, and deep consumer insights to identify strategic growth opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams like innovation, finance, supply chain, R&D, and sales strategy to effectively commercialize and execute plans with excellence
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve profit margins
  • Lead business analytics and performance monitoring, recommend course corrections as needed
  • Manage monthly consumption analysis and volume forecasting to deliver accurate, insightful plans
  • Collaborate with sales and insights teams to craft compelling sell-in stories and materials for new products and innovations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, strategic marketing, and project management in the food or FMCG industries
  • Proven track record in developing successful, integrated marketing campaigns including digital marketing and social media.
  • Experience with China market.
  • Ability to translate insights into actionable opportunities, even with limited information.
  • Strong collaboration skills to bring in-market activations to life and define launch scenarios.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
