A leading global logistics organisation is seeking a Senior Marketing Officer to champion the promotion of their competitive advantages and ensure that services and developments are communicated with clarity and impact to stakeholders. This role offers you the opportunity to take ownership of marketing initiatives, develop and execute strategic plans, and drive engagement across South China.

What you'll do:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively highlight the unique strengths and competitive edges of the container terminal within the logistics sector.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to gather up-to-date information on terminal services and new developments, ensuring all communications are accurate and timely.
  • Create engaging marketing materials and programmes designed to communicate service offerings and innovations to both existing clients and potential partners.
  • Assist in maintaining and regularly updating content for the corporate website, ensuring all information reflects current services and developments.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for enhancing the organisation’s competitive position within South China.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, business partners, and industry associations by fostering open communication channels.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through detailed reporting, using insights gained to adjust strategies for optimal results.
  • Support adhoc projects or events as assigned by management, contributing your expertise wherever needed.
  • Drive engagement across multiple platforms including social media by developing relevant content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing activities and overall business objectives.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline is essential for understanding core principles of effective communication within the logistics sector.
  • At least six years’ experience in marketing roles, preferably within logistics or container terminal environments, demonstrates your proven track record of delivering successful campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with proficiency in marketing tools and software enable you to interpret data accurately for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication abilities combined with interpersonal skills allow you to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders at every level.
  • Experience in content development ensures you can craft messages that resonate across digital channels including social media platforms.
  • Creative thinking empowers you to brainstorm fresh ideas and innovative strategies that support organisational initiatives while remaining sensitive to stakeholder needs.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English as well as Chinese enables you to communicate effectively within diverse teams and external networks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional groups highlights your commitment to shared goals and communal success.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously demonstrates your dependability under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
