Role Overview This high‑impact role will partner with growth and commercial teams to ensure the business delivers competitive, profitable, and customer‑friendly pricing. Leveraging advanced analytic and dynamic pricing mechanisms, you will play a key role in shaping market positioning and revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Competitive Intelligence & Pricing Strategy: Lead end‑to‑end monitoring of competitor pricing activity. Translate data insights into actionable pricing strategies.

  • Pricing Execution: Implement surcharge structures, surge pricing, promotional incentives, and dynamic pricing models to balance supply, demand, and affordability.

  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Analyse large data sets to uncover demand patterns, price elasticity, and competitive gaps. Recommend and execute real‑time pricing adjustments to optimise both volume and yield.

  • Strategic Reporting & Governance: Establish reporting frameworks for senior leadership. Define key marketplace metrics and deliver actionable insights to guide global strategy.

  • Continuous Optimisation: Identify structural gaps and automation opportunities. Proactively evolve pricing logic to stay ahead of market changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, Analytic, Statistics, or related quantitative field.

  • Strong experience in data analytic, strategy, or commercial finance. Background in pricing, revenue management, or marketplace optimisation is highly valued.

  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, and Excel. Familiarity with visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modelling is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, including surge pricing, incentive optimisation, and price sensitivity modelling.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt scope as business needs evolve.

  • Proven leadership experience in commercial or data functions, with strong stakeholder management and influence skills.
