Our client is a leading healthcare company dedicated to improving the lives of our patients and communities. We are seeking a Contract Assistant Manager, Communications and Public Affairs to join their team. This role will support the marketing initiatives and enhance the corporate messaging, reporting directly to the Marketing Director

About the role

  • Assist in the development and management of content for the company website, ensuring it reflects the brand and engages the audience.
  • Draft, edit, and translate bilingual communication messages and materials, including press releases, media Q&A, speeches, advertorials, social media posts, corporate presentations, and the annual report.
  • Execute publicity initiatives to highlight the company’s recent advancements and accomplishments, including press briefings, corporate events, site visits, and the creation of corporate publications and videos
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with the media and key stakeholders
  • Conduct daily monitoring of local and international news and industry updates across social media platforms.
  • Determine the most effective channels and platforms to reach target audiences and showcase the company’s efforts, overseeing projects from initial planning to successful execution.
  • Help prepare materials for Committee and Board meetings.
  • Assist with the administrative functions of the Corporate Communications team.
  • Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by senior management

About the person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of solid experience in the field of publication, public relations, event management or related industry.
  • Excellent writing skill for corporate material is essential.
  • Good experience in planning and implementing public relation and media relation strategies to build up the brand image of the company, printing and video production, organising large scale events, publishing materials at various channels and publicity campaigns
  • Experienced in creating high-quality bilingual content in both English and Chinese for corporate social media platforms and articles
