Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to organise events, exhibitions, visits and functions for members and the public.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in organising high-profile events, exhibitions, visits and functions. You will be instrumental in planning and executing the company strategies while managing outsourced contracts. Your exceptional writing skills will be utilised in drafting executive speeches, advertorials and feature articles. You will oversee the company's publications, websites and digital media channels ensuring they align with our brand image. Engaging with stakeholders from various industries will be a key part of your role. You will also provide strategic advice on media issues when necessary. Acting as Secretary to relevant committees and working groups will require you to prepare meeting papers and minutes.

  • Organise events, exhibitions, visits and functions for the public
  • Plan and execute the company’s strategies and activities
  • Manage contracts and activities that are contracted out
  • Draft communications write-ups such as executive speeches, advertorials and feature articles
  • Oversee company's publications, websites and digital media channels
  • Engage stakeholders, counterpart organisations as well as trade and industry associations
  • Provide strategic advice on media issues where necessary
  • Act as Secretaries to relevant committees and working groups (e.g., prepare meeting papers and minutes)
  • Perform any other duties as directed

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Manager position holds a recognised university degree in mass communications, journalism or a related discipline. You bring along at least 5 years of solid managerial experience in public relations, marketing or event management. Your profound knowledge of multi-stakeholder communications coupled with your excellent communication skills make you stand out. You are known for your excellent planning, organisation and management skills. Your proactive, result-oriented approach and high self-motivation enable you to work independently under tight deadlines. You are a team player who can effectively collaborate with colleagues, members and stakeholders. Your command of written and spoken English and Chinese is excellent.

  • A recognised university degree in mass communications, journalism, language or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of solid managerial experience in public relations, marketing and event management
  • Profound knowledge of multi-stakeholder communications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
