Marketing Manager - Asset Management
This firm is seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to support its Hong Kong business. This role will partner closely with relevant sales teams and investment specialists to develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen the brand in Hong Kong.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic marketing skills with hands-on execution, a deep understanding of institutional client needs, and the ability to navigate diverse regulatory and cultural environments across Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Planning
- Partner with businesses (e.g., digital assets, private banking, institutional) to design and deliver marketing strategies that drive growth, retention, and engagement in Hong Kong.
- Develop country-specific marketing strategies that reflect local market priorities while aligning with regional and global brand strategy.
- Build positioning as a trusted, independent, and long-term investment partner for HK/SG clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with APAC-, UK-, and CE-based marketing teams to maximize efficiency and ensure alignment with business needs.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Lead the design and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (thought leadership, events, digital, email) that engage HK/SG clients and consultants.
- Design targeted campaigns to support key focus capabilities and products aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with global and regional marketing teams to amplify global insights and translate them into impactful narratives for targeted audiences.
Client Engagement & Experience
- Support HK/SG events, roadshows, and roundtables while ensuring seamless client experiences aligned with commercial objectives.
- Occasionally coordinate flagship events across the region (including Taiwan, Korea, China).
- Support the development of high-level relationships with existing and new HK/SG clients across all markets.
- Gather client feedback and market intelligence to refine marketing strategies and enhance product positioning.
Brand, Content & Thought Leadership
- Strengthen the HK/SG brand profile by consistently articulating value propositions across channels, markets, and audiences.
- Work with content and investment teams to develop client-centric materials such as presentations, whitepapers, case studies, and sales enablement tools tailored to HK/SG client needs.
Measurement & Insights
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing effectiveness by linking activities to business outcomes (pipeline growth, client retention, consultant engagement).
- Apply data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and demonstrate ROI.
- Act as a central point of coordination for local/regional marketing teams across APAC for HK/SG marketing activity.
About You
Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of marketing experience within asset management, financial services, or professional services sectors; strong exposure to institutional clients (private banking/digital assets).
- Proven track record in developing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital platforms/events/thought leadership/PR).
- Strong understanding of institutional/private banking/digital assets investor needs including consultants, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, insurers.
- Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders across countries/functions effectively.
- Familiarity with Asia’s regulatory environment; ability to adapt messaging accordingly.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills; fluency in English required; Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with proactive problem-solving abilities; capable of influencing senior stakeholders while driving results.
- Highly organized/detail-oriented; comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
