Account / BD Manager (Restructuring & Insolvency)

We are looking for a Account / BD Manager within the Restructuring & Insolvency area to join the team!

Your role will be focusing on supporting the creation and implementation of Business Development (BD) strategies to drive growth within the Banking and Restructuring & Insolvency (R&I) practice. You will ensure these strategies align with the firm’s overarching goals as well as Clients and Sectors priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth initiatives within the Banking and R&I practices by developing, drafting, and implementing business development plans.
• Ensure alignment between local Banking and R&I strategies and global BD growth objectives, as well as the broader Firm strategy.
• Build a strong network across global BD teams and the Business Development & Marketing (BDM) function to maintain connectivity with the global network and strategy, fostering collaboration across teams.
• Utilize data-driven insights for horizon scanning, opportunity identification, and pipeline management within the Banking and R&I practices.
• Deliver high-quality contributions to win strategies, market-leading pitch materials, and panel submissions in a timely manner

Requirements

• At least 10 years of related working experience with minimum 2 years in supervisory role
• Extensive experience in business development within legal services, particularly in Banking and Restructuring & Insolvency (R&I) or related practice areas.
• A strong track record of identifying and leveraging growth opportunities within professional services environments.
• Experience collaborating across global teams to foster connectivity and alignment between offices.
• Proficient in utilizing global resources, tools, and shared services to enhance the effectiveness of BD initiatives.
• Skilled in providing strategic input for high-quality pitches and panel submissions.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with sector teams to drive cross-selling opportunities and client engagement.
• Advanced analytical capabilities, with a history of using data-driven insights to inform BD strategies and activities.
• Experience in gathering market intelligence, analyzing industry trends, and applying findings to shape BD approaches.
