The successful candidate will have the chance to draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across multiple disciplines, as well as provide legal advisory support on internal policies, corporate governance, and other legal instruments.

What you'll do:
As a Legal Manager, your role will be pivotal in providing strategic advice on a broad spectrum of legal issues pertaining to our client's business matters and daily operations. You will be entrusted with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts across various disciplines. Your expertise will also be sought for providing legal advisory support on internal policies, corporate governance, and other legal instruments. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also assist with contentious matters or potential legal issues that may arise. Furthermore, you will be expected to handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Legal Manager position is a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' post qualification experience. Having in-house experience would be an added advantage. You should have demonstrated experience in handling commercial contracts. Experience in corporate governance, policy drafting, and personal data privacy would be highly beneficial. We are looking for someone with strong business acumen who can anticipate legal issues and potential risks. You should be detail-oriented, meticulous with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Resilience is key as you will need the ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese are essential.
