In-House Counsel (US Listed Company)

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to stay informed on the latest U.S. regulatory updates and requirements impacting publicly listed companies, ensuring ongoing compliance. The successful candidate will liaise with external legal advisors, manage the company's legal affairs related to its U.S. listing, and oversee legal processes for the company's U.S. market activities.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in staying informed about the latest regulatory updates and requirements that impact publicly listed companies. You will be responsible for monitoring, gathering, and analyzing laws, regulations, and policies from U.S. regulatory agencies to ensure ongoing compliance. Your excellent negotiation skills will be put to use as you liaise with external legal advisors and manage the company's legal affairs related to its U.S. listing.

• Monitor, gather, and analyze laws, regulations, and policies from U.S. regulatory agencies
• Liaise with external legal advisors managing the company’s legal affairs related to its U.S. listing
• Oversee legal processes and ensure compliance with disclosure requirements for the company’s U.S. market activities
• Complete other tasks arranged by the leadership
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

The ideal candidate for this Senior Legal Counsel position brings a wealth of experience in relevant work areas, including international law firms or handling compliance legal matters for U.S.-listed companies. Your strong analytical capabilities will be essential in this role, as well as your excellent English skills which enable you to handle complex legal matters using legal English.

• Bachelor's degree or above, Juris Doctor/LLM preferred, US Bar admission preferred
• 10+ years of experience in relevant work experience, with prior experience in international law firms or handling compliance legal matters for U.S.-listed companies
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Excellent English skills, able to handle legal matters using legal English
• Strong personal character and professional ethics
