  • Assist in transaction and relationship surveillance by reviewing internal disclosures and exception reports, escalating and preparing suspicious transaction reports (STRs) and other filings as appropriate.
  • Perform testing and monitoring over AML/CFT and sanctions-related controls, processes, and systems, and support institutional risk assessments and other thematic reviews.
  • Help maintain AML/CFT/sanctions policies and procedures, coordinate regulatory reporting and initiatives, and deliver or support staff training to promote strong financial crime risk awareness across the branch.

  • Solid understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions regulations, market practices, and control measures, ideally gained in a commercial or corporate banking environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to work independently under pressure while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and judgement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, and confidence in dealing with stakeholders at different levels.
