Global Product Compliance - VP

A leading digital asset fintech in Hong Kong is seeking a mid-senior Global Markets Compliance expert to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with experience as a VP in Global Markets Compliance at an investment bank, who is eager to promote greater adoption of compliant digital asset platforms for professional investors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide daily compliance advice on trading transactions regarding relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Design and implement trading compliance policies; establish appropriate risk appetite and clear surveillance procedures to address misconduct, market abuse, and insider trading issues.
• Collaborate closely with market-makers, traders, and product teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders.
• Stay updated on global regulatory changes and serve as a professional advisor to mitigate compliance risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with over 8 years of global markets compliance experience from reputable investment banks in Asia.
• Expertise in global markets compliance with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and trading rules for products such as spot, margin, options, swaps, and OTC products.
• A self-starter with innovative thinking and the ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with hands-on experience working on the trading floor alongside sales and traders.
• A commercial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Passionate about the fintech market.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and driven to be a key player in shaping the compliant digital asset market.
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English is essential.
