ISDA Negotiator

Keen to connect with Master Agreement Negotiators with 3+ years of experience. This is a newly created permanent position in an established legal team.

As an ISDA Negotiator, your primary responsibility will be the negotiation and execution of master agreements. You will also handle other contract reviews/negotiations to support our day-to-day business needs. Your role will require you to secure the firm's interest while negotiating relevant Master Documents. You will work closely with business units and other control functions to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Your ability to resolve issues/problems efficiently will be crucial in this role. We value teamwork, so your ability to excel as a team player will be highly appreciated.

  • Negotiate and execute master agreements such as ISDA, GMRA, and GMSLA
  • Handle other contract reviews/negotiations to support day-to-day business needs
  • Secure the firm's interest while negotiating relevant Master Documents
  • Work closely with business units and other control functions to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Resolve issues/problems efficiently
  • Excel as a team player

Requirement

  • 3+ years of relevant experience obtained from law firms, investment banks or securities firms
  • Knowledge of ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA, and the relevant regulatory requirements/developments in the derivatives area
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with different control functions and Business team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Actively seeks to resolve issues/problems and excels as a team player
  • Language skills (both written and spoken): Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
