A prestigious European Corporate Bank is looking for a Compliance officer to join the Hong Kong Compliance team. Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will be exposed to both AML and Compliance responsibilities alongside learning from expereinced Compliance professionals in the team

• Assist the Department Head in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Assist in the preparation, submission and maintenance of HKMA updates, review circulars and disseminate
• Update Compliance policies, procedures, codes and guidelines on a regular basis
• Investigate and clear AML and Sanction related alerts escalated from first line of defence.
• Perform KYC and Client on boarding
• Perform compliance reviews and testing, and assist in the preparation of reports to management and regulators
• Provide training and advisory to internal stakeholders on compliance matters

What you'll need to succeed

3- 5 years of relevant experience in general compliance or AML within a bank

Knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements

Experience in AML would also be considered

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Fluency in English and Chinese
