Our client is a listed conglomerate in Hong Kong. They are currently hiring a General Counsel role who specialises in handling all roudned general commercial, transcations and listing rules compliance legal matters for the business.

Description

• Leading the team for full spectrum of legal and company secretarial matters for the business
• Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiations of legal documents and commercial and properties related contracts
• Provide advice, guidance’ and assistance to the business as necessary and appropriate, on how to achieve and maximize business objective under applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, governmental decrees and company policies with efficiency and legal protection.
• Provide legal support to leasing and property management business in Hong Kong
• Responsible for transaction deals for the business
• Identify, assess, and effectively manage legal risk from time to time; assist with the development of corporate policies and procedures

Requirement

• Degree holder with 15+ PQE from reputable law firms and inhouse experience
• Experience in general commercial, listing rules compliance and transactions related legal matters gained from inhouse company
• Excellent command in English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills working within a matrix structure
• Ability to work independently and multitask
