Our client is a listed property developer in Hong Kong. They are currently hiring a Head of Legal and Company Secretarial role who specialities in handling all rounded properties, real estate transaction and general commercial legal matters for the business.

Description

• Leading the team for full spectrum of legal and company secretarial matters for the business
• Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiations of legal documents and commercial and properties related contracts
• Provide advice, guidance’ and assistance to the business as necessary and appropriate, on how to achieve and maximize business objective under applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, governmental decrees and company policies with efficiency and legal protection.
• Prepare or review properties related legal documents, including DMC, sales and pre-sales agreement
• Provide legal support to leasing and property management business in Hong Kong
• Responsible for real estate transaction deals for the business
• Identify, assess, and effectively manage legal risk from time to time; assist with the development of corporate policies and procedures

Requirement

• Degree holder with 15+ PQE from reputable law firms and inhouse experience
• Experience in general commercial legal matters gained from inhouse company
• Experience in property sector is preferred
• Excellent command in English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills working within a matrix structure
• Ability to work independently and multitask
