Our client is a leading property developer in Hong Kong. They are currently hiring Senior Legal Counsel role who specialities in handling all rounded leasing and general commercial legal matters for the business.

Description
• Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiations of legal documents and commercial contracts
• Provide advice, guidance’ and assistance to the business as necessary and appropriate, on how to achieve and maximize business objective under applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, governmental decrees and company policies with efficiency and legal protection.
• Prepare or review legal documents, business plans, actions and strategies required by the business organization and functional departments. Give guidance and assistance to such items.
• Provide legal support to leasing and property management business in Hong Kong
• Conduct legal research and analysis and provide legal support relating to Hong Kong laws and laws of other offshore jurisdictions
• Identify, assess, and effectively manage legal risk from time to time; assist with the development of corporate policies and procedures

Requirement
• Degree holder with 7+ PQE from reputable law firms and inhouse experience
• Experience in general commercial legal matters gained from inhouse company
• Experience in property sector is preferred
• Excellent command in English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills working within a matrix structure
• Ability to work independently and multitask
