Our client is an international law firm. They are currently hiring a Compliance Lawyer with 3+ years of PQE, who focuses on maintaining and developing the compliance and regulatory framework for the business.

Our client is an international law firm. They are currently hiring a Compliance Lawyer with 3+ years of PQE, who focuses on maintaining and developing the compliance and regulatory framework for the business.

Job Duties

• Develop and Implement the risk and compliance standard framework to cope with the organization’s standard
• Assist the Department Head to provide advice on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters which align with The Law Society of Hong Kong’s standard
• Responsible for implementing new or changing regulatory requirements and updates to the firm’s business in Hong Kong
• Assist the fee earners to conduct monitoring and exercise to clients for ensuring the firm’s compliance-related policies and procedures are up to standard

Requirement

• Be a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with at least 3 years’ post qualification experience;
• Good experience in compliance and regulatory or litigation working experience in sizable law firms
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to liaise effectively with internal clients at all levels and able to balance the interests of all stakeholders;
• Be able to work independently;
• Have excellent command of both English and Chinese languages (Cantonese and Mandarin), with the ability to communicate effectively and draft documents in both languages.
