- Prepare and maintain investment fund constitutional/offering documents; develop new products
- Provide legal advice and support in relation to the asset management business, including the establishment, structuring and re-structuring, due diligence and management of different types of funds
- Advise on financial services business, including structured finance/real estate/credit investment activities.
- Manage implementation and enforcement of internal policies and external regulations
- Support new business initiatives and products by advising relevant legal and regulatory issues; assist in structuring considerations and to draft/review legal documentations
- Pitch in with the Compliance team on compliance monitoring and routine tasks
- Manage external lawyers for effective use of resources
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor of HK with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Solid experience and knowledge of funds and M&A transactions.
- Prior in-house legal experience in financial institutions, especially in the fund management business is highly preferred.
- Strong business and commercial sense
- Excellent command in Chinese & English
