My multinational client is looking to hire an IT technical trainer to join their team covering APAC.

About the responsibilities:

• Deliver skills training on the firm’s suite of technologies
• Deliver corporate secretarial skills training (Incorporating an exempt company, registering mutual funds, forming partnerships)
• Deliver training in a variety of formats (including seminar-style and webinar style to large audiences, in a classroom to many students and one-to-one)
• Deploy learning technologies to transfer skills, in technology and non-IT subjects (virtual labs, enterprise content management, performance management tools, social networking, e-assessment etc)
• Prepare and maintain course and training materials
• Design new/improved training courses
• Provide desk-side support to customers as part of firm-wide upgrades or new IT system roll-outs
• Travel to APAC offices to deliver training
• Deliver training to other offices globally on a needs basis

About the requirements:

• A formal training qualification (eg CIPD certificate in Training & Development) is a strong advantage but not necessary
• At least three years’ experience in a similar training role in a professional services environment (law firm experience is preferred)
• Outstanding presentation and training skills
• Strong IT background, familiar with Microsoft Office Expert, ELearning design and development, storyline 360 would be a plus
• Fluency in English required. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin a distinct advantage
