Operations & Training Manager (Asia, F&B)
Our client is a young, energetic, and international F&B label entering an exciting new phase of aggressive regional expansion and strategic transformation of its operating model. They are now in search of an Operations & Training talents across the regions.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Excellence
- Develop, roll out, and continuously improve store SOPs, operational workflows, and service standards across regional markets
- Conduct routine store audits to ensure operational consistency, hygiene, product quality, and customer service
- Partner with shop managers to drive sales performance, labour efficiency, and customer experience improvements
- Support new store openings and new market launches, ensuring frontline readiness and operational alignment
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical, scalable solutions
Training & Capability Building
- Design and deliver structured training programs covering service, sales, product knowledge, safety, and operational skills
- Build a scalable “training academy” framework for regional deployment
- Develop training materials: manuals, SOP guides, visual aids, digital learning content, and on‑the‑job coaching tools
- Coach frontline staff and supervisors to elevate performance and brand consistency
- Track training effectiveness through KPIs, assessments, and operational performance data
Regional Collaboration & Special Projects
- Work closely with regional teams and future markets to align operational standards
- Support leadership with operational improvement initiatives and expansion projects
- Facilitate communication across different cultures and markets to maintain alignment and clarity
- Lead specific projects tied to operational transformation, customer journey enhancement, or efficiency optimisation
Ideal Profile:
- 4–8 years’ experience in F&B operations, retail operations, or frontline training
- Strong understanding of store-level operations, customer experience, and service excellence
- Experience in multi‑site operations or fast‑growth environments strongly preferred
- Proven ability to coach, train, and uplift frontline staff
- Excellent English communication skills; additional Asian languages are an advantage
- Comfortable with regional travel and cross‑market collaboration
