A leading financial services institution in Hong Kong is looking for a Human Resources Manager – Learning & Development to drive talent and leadership development through innovative frameworks.

Key responsibilities

As Human Resources Manager – Learning & Development in Hong Kong, you will drive talent growth by designing development frameworks, leading organisational initiatives, partnering with external experts, and fostering cross-functional collaboration in a forward-looking HR environment.

  • Continuously enhance and review the learning & talent development framework to ensure a strong leadership pipeline and robust talent pools aligned with Group strategy and talent development agenda
  • Develop and implement bank-wide organisational development initiatives and projects effectively
  • Act as a talent management/OD partner by identifying learning gaps and providing targeted development solutions
  • Source and collaborate with universities, training organisations, consultants, and tertiary institutions to deliver innovative learning resources
  • Support procurement for learning initiatives, review L&D policies, and manage ad-hoc projects as assigned

Candidate profile

The ideal Human Resources Manager – Learning & Development should bring proven experience managing complex L&D projects, designing impactful training frameworks, and fostering talent across multicultural teams with strong communication, interpersonal, and digital skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Public Relations, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development or related roles is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation, proposal, and report-writing skills
  • Strong ownership, service mindset, ability to work independently under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with Photoshop or graphic editing skills mastery is an advantage
