A Hong Kong headquartered conglomerate is seeking for a high caliber individual to join them as the Head of Training & Development - HK & China.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute the overall training and development strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead a team of training professionals to design, develop and deliver high-quality training programs
  • Collaborate with senior management to assess training needs and identify skill gaps across the organization
  • Establish learning objectives, curriculum and content for various training initiatives
  • Implement learning technologies and tools to enhance training delivery and tracking
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and assessments
  • Manage the training budget and resources effectively to meet training objectives
  • Ensure compliance with training standards, regulations, and company policies

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the field of training & development gained from sizeable organizations
  • Proven track record of success in the overall management and development of training programs and initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools will be an advantage
  • Proficient in both written and spoke English and Chinese (incl. Mandarin)
