A Hong Kong utilities group seeks for a HR Systems - Transformation Manager to lead HR digital transformation, system upgrades, and AI-driven process improvements while enhancing employee experience and Group-level HR strategy.

Key responsibilities

As HR Systems - Transformation Manager, you will drive HR digitalisation by optimising workflows, leading system upgrades and automation with IT, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, delivering analytics for strategic decisions, managing UAT and user training, and coordinating Group-wide initiatives.

  • Review and redesign HR workflows to drive digital transformation, improving efficiency, governance, and overall HR service delivery through system integration and AI applications
  • Lead and support HR system upgrades, integrations, automation, maintenance, and change management in close collaboration with IT and external vendors
  • Act as data governance lead, to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with legal and internal requirements
  • Assist to develop HR dashboards and analytics to support workforce planning and strategic decision-making for senior management, including managing UAT and system performance validation
  • Deliver user training and documentation, collaborate on Group-level HR system initiatives with Mainland project teams, and support other HR projects as required

Candidate profile

The ideal HR Systems - Transformation Manager should have hands-on HRIS project experience, SAP HR expertise, regulatory awareness, bilingual English–Chinese skills, and a reliable, collaborative approach to sensitive data and cross-functional work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline, with extensive hands-on experience in HRIS management
  • Around 10 years of relevant HRIS experience, with strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, audit requirements, and Hong Kong labour laws
  • Proven hands-on expertise in SAP HR systems is essential; exposure to other HR functions is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • A responsible, self-motivated team player; candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager role
