Payroll and Servicing - Assistant Manager

This role offers the chance to manage key HR systems, oversee payroll processing, and contribute to various HR projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing rental reimbursement schemes, tax reporting, onboarding/offboarding processes, and pension administration. What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager in Payroll and Servicing, you will play a pivotal role in managing the HRIS system, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. You will also be responsible for managing rental reimbursement schemes, tax reporting, onboarding/offboarding processes, and pension administration.

  • Manage the HRIS system (currently Workday) payroll system, monthly payroll, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage rental reimbursement scheme and tax reporting.
  • Manage onboarding / offboard process.
  • Manage pension administration.
  • Produce comprehensive HR and compensation reports.
  • Liaison with auditors on audits in relation to HR and pensions.
  • Responsible for HRIS enhancement / migration projects
  • Provide coaching to subordinates.
  • Provide cover for absent colleagues.
  • Contribute to HR related ad hoc projects where necessary.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Assistant Manager - Payroll and Servicing role will bring a wealth of relevant HR experience in payroll and servicing.

  • At least ten years plus relevant HR experience in payroll and servicing.
  • Experience in financial institutions and sizeable organisations are advantages.
  • Degree holder is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in payroll processing, taxation reporting and benefits administration.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to details and accuracy.
  • Enthusiastic with a proactive attitude and a good customer service approach.
  • Client focused and team-based approach to work.
  • Independent and able to work well under pressure.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Cantonese, Mandarin an advantage.
  • Good work ethic and team player.
