A leading retail organisation is seeking an HR Senior Manager/Deputy Director to lead its people strategy and drive impactful organisational development. If you are passionate about strategic HR advice, this position provides the platform for you to thrive.

Key responsibilities

As an HR Senior Manager/Deputy Director, you will lead end-to-end HR operations, drive talent and organisational strategies, and ensure full compliance with Hong Kong labour regulations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead all HR functions, including workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee relations
  • Develop, review, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and systems in full compliance with Hong Kong labour laws
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to ensure high performance and efficient HR operations
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to senior management, providing advice and driving people and organisational development initiatives
  • Manage cross-functional HR projects and deliver strategic initiatives assigned by senior leadership

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you will bring extensive experience in managing diverse HR functions alongside strong expertise in compliance and employee relations. Your ability to provide strategic HR advice while fostering team management and talent planning will be key to your success.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • At least 6 years of HR management or consulting experience, with proven people management and full-spectrum HR operations exposure
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, and labour compliance and risk management
  • Full professional proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
