My client operates in the innovative technology sector as a high-growth multinational corporation, led by a team of exceptional talent from top technology firms. They are currently supported by world-class investors and are actively expanding their team. They are seeking an HR Operations Lead to join their high-performing group. This setup role is ideal for someone eager to build, improve, and optimise operations within a startup environment.

About the Role:

  • As the HR Operations Lead, you will design, review, and implement HR infrastructure, focusing on processes, employee experiences, compliance, and HRIS system to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • You will develop and maintain employee life cycle operations, including on-boarding, off-boarding, and compliance procedures, while creating comprehensive guidelines and documentation for HR operations processes.
  • You will develop and optimise HR processes and procedures to support the company's expansion and improve business effectiveness. Continuous streamlining of HR processes will be a key focus to enhance efficiency.
  • Act as an HR policy expert to establish location-specific work rules and an Employee Handbook.
  • Support employee experience initiatives by setting up communication channels and planning events and programs.
  • Enhance and maintain the operation of the HRIS system.
  • Assist with global HR projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services or HR Projects, ideally with a background in sizable organizations, as well as experience in startup and fast-paced environments.
  • Service-oriented, detail-minded, with strong planning and organisational skills. Experience in HR operations and shared services with a mindset suited to a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in setup and scaling operations, as well as regional expertise, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
