This newly created role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR function, contributing significantly to the success of their Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an emerging market,

What you'll do:

As an HR Coordinator, your role will be multifaceted with responsibilities ranging from recruitment to HR operations. Your role will also involve maintaining employee information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), coordinating monthly payroll information paperwork & reports, managing employee benefits enrolment, status changes, and renewals. You will also assist with onboarding new joiners & transferring employees.

  • End-to-end recruitment process management including job advertising, proactive sourcing, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and onboarding
  • Maintaining employee information by updating employment and status changes within HRIS when required
  • Coordinating monthly payroll information paperwork & reports
  • Managing employee benefits enrolment, status changes, and renewals
  • Assisting with onboarding new joiners & transferring employees
  • Providing support to the HR Manager on performance management, employee relations and compensation & rewards
  • Ensuring best HR practices are adherence to legal and regulatory requirements

What you bring:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant HR experience from an MNC
  • Experience in volume recruitment or startup environment would be advantageous
  • Sound HRIS experience and ability to use systems effectively to process and report on data
  • Knowledge of employment law and ability to manage employee relations cases highly desired.
  • Ability to interpret and practice HR policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to build rapport at all levels
