They are currently looking for a HR Operations Manager (6 months contract) to provide general HR administrative support for the firm.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Processes
- Updating and maintaining HR systems, records and reports with accurate employee data. This includes the set up and maintenance of employee files and data
- Managing staff movements and processing of changes to employee's circumstances, including preparing accurate and effective documentation/communication and updating relevant databases.
- Supporting new employees onboarding processes including the management of background checks and coverage under the organizations’ insurance policies.
- Processing leavers, including preparing accurate, relevant documentation including final payments and tax forms (off-boarding process) etc.
- Identifying HR process improvements and efficiencies and supporting implementation of new systems and software to address employee needs
- Updating Employee handbook and policies in line with legislation changes
- Supporting HR priority projects with any administrative activity – e.g. support for recruitment, training, TMS/ LES systems
Payroll
- Processing the monthly employee payroll in cooperation with the external service provider and internal finance department. Be the payroll subject matter expert.
- Maintaining payroll processing system and updates to internal databases and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
- Ensuring wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations and payroll policies
HR Reporting
- Producing monthly / quarterly Management Information reports to support decision making by senior management (payroll, quarterly D&I data, employee surveys)
- Monitoring and analyzing key HR data and metrics and tracking progress
Competencies & Requirements
- Graduate degree (in Human Resources Management or relevant field) with 7+ years of experience as an HR
- Operations Manager, HR Manager or similar role
- Experience with HRIS; Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
- Knowledge of payroll operations and labour laws, including relevant Legislation and Employee Ordinances applicable in Hong Kong and Singapore
- Excellent analytical, organization, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken English) and the ability to work effectively with teams /multiple stakeholders.
