A fashion retail company is looking for a Human Resources Manager in Hong Kong Island with multi-region HR expertise to shape an inclusive, people-centric employee experience across full talent lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

As a Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle across regions, driving inclusive recruitment, fair HR operations, effective onboarding and training, policy compliance, and employee engagement with integrity and empathy.

  • Recruitment & Selection: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to support company development and conduct interviews for office & frontline positions
  • Compensation & Benefits: Assist in monthly payroll process, leave administration and annual HR budgets and conducting salary reviews, ensuring competitive compensation structures
  • Talent Development: In charge of onboarding program, identify staff development needs and evaluate training effectiveness; Facilitate the performance development process and talent mapping
  • HR Policies & Procedures: Develop and enforce HR policies in alignment with group guidelines
  • Employee Relations: Foster effective communication and engage employees through various activities including CSR activities, employee events and support initiatives

Candidate profile

To excel as Human Resources Manager, you bring strong multi-region HR management experience (ideally in retail), solid academic grounding, hands-on expertise across recruitment to payroll, regional compliance knowledge (HK, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore & Malaysia), bilingual fluency, and a genuine commitment to people development.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Extensive relevant experience, including in managerial roles (retail industry is advantageous)
  • Expertise in multi-region Human Resources regulations (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore & Malaysia)
  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and who is detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English
