Our client is seeking a strong HR business partner to lead the Human Resources function and collaborate closely with stakeholders. The role involves developing HR strategies, daily operations management, and supporting business growth through key projects including HR transformation projects, reward scheme implementations, and automation.

About the role

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and promoting employee engagement.
  • Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and engagement.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Manage and provide guidance on complex HR issues, including employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify people needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Support the business expansion and address challenges by providing insightful HR solutions.
  • Champion employee welfare programs, and well-being initiatives.
  • Prepare HR matrices and reports, providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and drive HR transformation projects.

About the person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with the knowledge of employment law and compliance frameworks.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Adaptable to organisational culture while championing positive transformation.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese (written/spoken)
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
