Join our team as a Payroll Manager and play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and seamless payroll operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and administration of benefits such as provident fund, insurance, and healthcare plans.
  • Prepare payroll reports and ensure timely submission of income tax returns and provident fund filings.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits to maintain compliance with Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave management, and personal details.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and employee data.
  • Process payroll updates for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employee status changes, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in payroll management or a similar accounting role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, labour laws, taxation and statutory compliance in India.
  • Experience in handling payroll audits, inspections and compliance assessments.
  • Excellent understanding of financial principles and the ability to reconcile payroll with financial records.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
