Payroll Accountant | International Group (up to 40k)

This Client is an international organization with excellent reputation, amounting to over 500 headcounts based in Hong Kong. It is currently looking for a seasoned Payroll Accountant to support all round payroll functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
  • Process tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.
  • Develop and maintain payroll budgets, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather payroll data and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Oversee system upgrades and enhancements to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on payroll best practices, tax laws, and system advancements to enhance payroll operations.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate payroll reports, analyze data trends, and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 4-6 years of Payroll experience gained from sizeable corporate.
  • Experience with payroll software and systems, with a focus on system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
