Payroll Analyst - US Listed Tech Firm

As a Regional Payroll Analyst, your support the payroll process for employees across multiple regions (11 countries). You will prepare necessary instructions or changes for the payroll vendors while ensuring accuracy in all reports. Your responsibilities will also include handling specific requests such as medicine reimbursements or gratuity payments for resigned employees. Your will also update SOPs as needed and provide necessary data during audit periods.

What you'll do:

  • Support payroll process for employees based in various locations
  • Prepare payroll instructions/changes and provide to the payroll vendors
  • Review payroll reports such as payroll register, GL, variances, statutory and bank file reports by identifying payroll discrepancies
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and consolidation of regular periodic reports
  • Send out New Hire payroll documents to APAC New Hires
  • Monitor and handle medicine reimbursement request
  • Monitor and process Gratuity payment for resigned employees
  • Update SOP as needed
  • Provide data needed by the Auditor during audit period
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors

What you bring:

  • Possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Management, Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 5 years work experiences in Payroll and Benefits Administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Google Form etc.
  • Effective English oral and written communications skills. Mandarin is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems
  • Ability to escalate issues as necessary
  • Proactive, detailed and results oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Able to maintain confidential information
