Company Overview:
Our client is a leading European Fortune 500 company with extensive operations in Hong Kong.
They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role will primarily focus on C&B related projects (60%) while also overseeing C&B operations (40%) across our organization.
Responsibilities:
C&B Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.
- Conduct regular benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive positioning of our compensation and benefits programs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance on C&B matters and contribute to the overall HR strategy.
C&B Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, variable pay, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on legislative changes related to compensation and benefits and proactively address any potential impact on existing programs.
C&B Projects:
- Lead and support various C&B projects, such as job evaluations, salary structure design, bonus programs, and equity plans.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making on C&B initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new compensation and benefits programs or enhancements to existing programs.
- Communicate and educate employees on compensation and benefits programs, ensuring a clear understanding of their value and purpose.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years in compensation and benefits management, in organizations with large headcount size
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing C&B projects, including job evaluations, salary structure design, and bonus programs.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
