General Manager, Cardiac Device

Our client is a well-known medical device company with global presence, focusing on cardiovascular surgery products. They are now seeking for a seasoned leader with entrepreneurial mindset to lead the business across APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the business of assigned portfolio, to develop and implement effective business strategies to expand market presence across APAC (including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia)
• Lead the team to oversee the business development, daily operations and risk management to ensure long-term success
• Be responsible for the overall P&L, team development, business forecast, etc
• Liaise and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, medical professionals, government authorities, local networks, investors, etc
• Be a reliable partner and advisor to the top management

Key Requirements:

• BSc/ MSc/Ph.D. in Biological/ Biomedical/ Biotechnology/ Bioengineering or in related disciplines
• 15+ years of business experience in medical device industry, with a deep understanding of the market, industry regulations and best practices; including/ plus 5+ years of senior management experience is preferred
• Candidate from sizeable medical device company who has experience in regional/ APAC business are welcome
• Oversea candidates who are willing to relocate to Hong Kong and have excellent language proficiency are welcome
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with business acumen Excellent interpersonal skills, strong leadership, and problem-solving skills
