Credit Risk Manager (Approval)

Our client, a leading corporate retail banking group is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager for Credit Risk Approval (SME/Large Corporates/FI)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate credit applications and conduct thorough risk assessments.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data.
• Make informed credit approval decisions within established guidelines.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders to assess creditworthiness.
• Monitor and review existing credit facilities to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports on credit risk assessments and decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in credit risk assessment within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with credit risk models and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in [relevant software/tools, e.g., Excel, credit risk assessment software].
