Operational Risk Manager (Chinese reporting)

We are currently in search of a mandarin communicator with chinese reporting proficiency to support the operational risk team

Responsibilities

• Identify operational loss events by analyzing company data and report these events or patterns to senior managements
• Assist in Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management activities.
• Help prepare key risk indicator reports for management using various company data sources.
• Support the annual organizational risk and control self-assessment program by working with all business units to identify risks, manage controls, develop test cases, implement action plans for control deficiencies, and report progress to management.
• Assist in performing operational risk stress tests.
• Investigate operational risk events, including those with financial, reputational, or regulatory impacts.
• Manage the policy exceptions approval and renewal process.
• Review key risks and controls, track mitigation plans, and ensure follow-up and closure of action items.
• Assist in reporting and liaising with the Operational Risk Management team.
• Advise the first line of defense on operational risk-related matters.
• Oversee governance related to End User Computing tools used across the group.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• At least 4 to 6 years of working experience in operational risk/ control testing, ideally from a global markets/investment banking/ securities brokerage environment
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
• Good project planning and time management skills; proactive, diligent, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken Chinese(Mandarin) and English
• Proficiency in Chinese reporting is a must
