Associate, Global Client Assistant - Client Engagement

Deliver operational excellence and exceptional client service as a Global Client Assistant, managing CRM, supporting APAC client engagement, and driving efficiency across the client lifecycle in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

As Global Client Assistant, you will drive APAC client lifecycle and operations, partnering with Client Managers, managing CRM data, reporting, and office initiatives to ensure efficiency and high-quality client service.

  • Client Onboarding & Engagement: Partner with Client Managers to onboard new clients, handle queries, and tailor services to drive a seamless client experience
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Provide regular MI, maintain accurate reporting, and evolve reporting frameworks to support informed decisions
  • CRM Oversight & Data Management: Manage Gold-Vision CRM, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and effective tracking of accounts, opportunities, contacts, campaigns, and distribution lists
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Conduct 1st Line of Defense (LOD) checks, oversee KYC/AML processes, manage FX Global Code SoC requests, and escalate new client prospects appropriately
  • Project & Relationship Management: Program-manage initiatives, document workflows, drive process improvements, and collaborate across Product, Onboarding, FCC, Legal, Operations, Technology, and Finance teams

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you should have strong multilingual skills, experience in client engagement and CRM management, and the ability to drive operational excellence in financial markets.

  • Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Multilingual & Communication Skills: Proficient in English and Cantonese; Mandarin or Japanese desirable; strong verbal, written, and relationship-building skills
  • Financial & Analytical Knowledge: Familiarity with financial markets, especially FX; excellent numeric and analytical skills
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint; capable of managing data and producing clear, insightful outputs
  • Organisational & Personal Attributes: Strong coordination, prioritisation, and time-management; team-oriented with a customer service focus; positive, goal-driven, detail-oriented, and quick learner
